Of various divinities existent in the world, Vahraniik serves under two major deities-
Akhmhekerath. [Awk-Meker-Ath]. The wolven God of crusades and predation.
Naahlote [Nah-loat.] The feline Goddess of remedies.

The two contrasting figures keep balance within the group,
Akhmhekerath offering sustenance while Naahlote carries upon her shoulders the overarching preservation of our medic-society's well-being, identity, and perseverance.
For Vahraniik, however, Naahlote is considered far more important than Akhmhekerath, as she is the mother of herbal knowledge, life, preservation of souls, eased death. It is believed that through her, Lokraan had the fortune to create a species-united group of medics; that she is the one who makes herb-gathering plentiful and wound-treatments quicken.

Celebrations and Tributaries
Every beginning of seasons- that is, the start of each month- a celebration is held in Naahlote's name, where the best of herbs are gathered and set to float down the river in offering to the feline goddess. With the herbal offering also goes any personal offerings that members wish to give as tribute; it can be anything from flowers for the deceased or prey in exchange of good luck and prosperity. It is up to Naahlote's believers to see that the bundle of offering makes safe travel down the river to the Crystalline Shores, highly thought to be the resting place of the said divinity.
As Naahlote is also the mother of all lives, separate offerings are given every time new life is borne within Vahraniik- or when an existing one fades, to return to the feline mother's arms. The newborn is bathed in the waters of the Crystalline Shores; the deceased are washed and buried in the sands that look towards the setting sun.

Prophecies and Promises
It is said that Naahlote has promised a special blessing upon the first feline cub- or kit- to be borne within Vahraniik. Only time will tell if such promise is true.
